Finally, Xiaomi Mi Note is coming to Malaysia and Singapore. Xiaomi missed the Q2 launch schedule but managed to get Xiaomi Mi Note out in the first month of Q3. The good news, it is the 64GB version (not the useless 16GB model). Mi Note is priced at RM1549 for Malaysia. And open for sale on 28t July 2015 12PM onward. Pricing and availability for Singapore will be announced tomorrow. But should not be far from Malaysia.
Mi Note is powered by Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz with Adreno 330. Has nice 3D curved Gorilla Glass 3 framed in aluminium and 5.7″ Sharp/JDI 108p Full HD display. Loaded with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Dual 4G SIM (micro/nano). You can take nice photos and videos with its Sony 13MP camera f/2.0 with OIS plus selfie on 4MP front camera with large 2-micron pixels. Personally, I like its Hi-Fi audio system, 24-bit/192KHz lossless playback support which makes it a better portable audio player. And 3000mAh lithium-ion battery with Quick Charge 2.0 should be enough for normal daily usage.
Be sure to standby in front of PC if you plan to buy this flagship phablet. It will be gone in minutes. For those waiting for Mi Note Pro, keep on waiting. Personally, I will get Xiaomi Mi 5 with Snapdragon 820 instead. Hopefully, it won’t overheat this time.
