Xiaomi Clip-on Car Charger Expansion Device comes in a rather simple packaging. As usual, the user manual is in Chinese. No worry, just plug it to Xiaomi Car Charger – Fast Charge Version and start using it. That’s it.
Build quality is excellent as expected from Xiaomi product. Thanks to high quality aluminium alloy shell and high-graded CNC process. Don’t forget the sturdy nylon braided cable with cable tie too.

Xiaomi Clip-on Car Charger Expansion Device supports both DC 12V and 24V input as well. Having DC 5V / 2.4A; DC 9V / 2A; DC 12V / 1.5A for USB-A and 5V / 3A; DC 9V / 3A; DC 12V / 3A; DC 15V / 3A; DC 20V / 2A for USB-C as output. Loaded with 5 protections – over-current, short circuit, over-voltage, over temperature protections and anti electromagnetic disturbance too. And of course, PD2.0 Protocol is supported. Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 is supported no doubt. USB-C PD2.0 is working perfectly on both Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Xiaomi Mi 6. However, it does not have enough juice power to provide both devices with fast charging. To enjoy both fast charging, one device needs to connect to Xiaomi Car Charger – Fast Charge Version directly.
