Package Content & Design
HyperBar 200 BTR comes well protected. Once taken the soundbar out, you can find stereo 3.5mm audio cable, micro USB charging cable and user manual. That’s all.
Stylish and lovely design! The RGB light effects levels up the visual experience even more. The front fabric speaker grill cover and nice glossy surface help too. For sub RM100, build quality is great. Thanks to sturdy plastic housing. By the way, there are 2 colours to choose – black and silver. Just select the one that you prefer will do.
It is loaded with two 2″ speaker drivers. Each with 12W pure output power (RMS). 2 soft anti-skid pads at the bottom. Follow by 2 round LED lights at both end of the soundbar.
The volume control (which also act as on/off switch) is located on the right. Same apply to all the navigation buttons, inputs and outputs. Yup, just refer to all the photos for details…
Performance Result
Excellent Bluetooth range! Yes, HyperBar 200 can reach up to 8m+ with obstacles like wall. In addition, it has virtually no lag between video and audio. This is a great news for those who love to play games, watch movie on your smartphone and tablet. Furthermore, there is battery life indicator on both Android and iOS devices. Great to know when to charge the soundbar. Lastly, AUX cable is there for non-Bluetooth devices like TV or PC.
FM radio is working fine even without external antenna. As usual, it is depending on your area signal reception. For local playback, just plug in your USB flash drive or micro SD card. It will start to play your favourite songs then. Guess what? It supports FLAC format on top of the usual MP3. YES!!!
Great sound for the price! Period. Easily be one of the best soundbars that you can get below RM100. 48W total output power is good enough to blast in the large living room. Slightly bright sound signature is what you get. More treble than bass in short. Bass is there but don’t expect it will be as deep as those speakers with dedicated subwoofer.
Overall, Vinnfier HyperBar 200 BTR produces clear treble and decent bass for a soundbar. Clean vocal for news and TV drama. Perfect for desktop PC usage. Not so much for TV as it does not come with a remote control.
