Package Content & Design
There are FlipGear Tango 220 WM, micro USB cable, wireless microphone, remote control and user manual in the package. No AUX cable can be found. By the way, the wireless microphone needs 2 AA size batteries (not included).
Build quality is great all thanks to solid and sturdy ABS plastic chassis. It is considered a small-to-medium size portable speaker. Not too heavy and easy to carry around. The main 6.5″ speaker drivers with LED lights are located in the front.
The handles are located at both left and right this round. No handle on the top. Do take note…
All the inputs, outputs and navigation buttons are located at the back. The LED display and IR receiver are there too.

Performance Result
Yeah… Outstanding wireless range is what you get! Easily reach up to 9m even with obstacles like walls. In addition, audio and video are virtually in-sync. That’s great for movie, games on your mobile devices indeed. Lastly, AUX input is there for non-Bluetooth devices. FM reception is excellent as well. The built-in player can play MP3 and even FLAC files. Yeah, enjoy better music quality thanks to that. By the way, it can’t remember last used audio source and EQ. Always start in Bluetooth mode. Do take note…
Karaoke all day long… The wireless microphone is performing great! All thanks to better built-in microphone amplifier. In addition, the dedicated microphone and echo volume controls help to make it useful and fun too. Yup, others can hear me clearly. The remote control comes in handy (but not sure why the mute button is working on my unit). You can control FlipGear Tango 220 from behind, far away. And there are 6 sound equalizers to select too.
40W total power output (RMS) is enough to blast in a quiet large living room or tuition center. It does not have treble and bass volume control. Therefore, you get bright sound signature from FlipGear Tango 220 WM out of the box. By changing to EQ5, you can make it sound much more balanced then. However, the treble is still slightly more than bass. In short, it provides clear and clean treble. Bass is there but needs more power to feel the deep impact. Overall, it is a decent budget portable speaker for speech and karaoke.
