I had same issue b4. Stuck at Update Firmware, FactoryIMGfs, for >4 hours. Sensing something wrong, I stopped ODIN and reboot my S2. Everything is as before and S2 remained with XWKF1. Posted my issue and one of the S2 forum member advise that before starting the flashing, ensure that KIES process is totally taken out by checking Task Manager in PC. It is ironic as we need to install KIES for the driver but KIES do not work with ODIN. Apparently, KIES ‘steal’ the port from ODIN and prevent ODIN from performing the flashing. This was what I had been advised. I had not the time to do another flash but will surely try again, sooooonn!:-(
Just wanted to share what I had been guided and hope it helps.

baseband version : I9100XXKH3
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7 – I9100 XWKF1 – CL 265340 root @ DELL106 #2
Build Number : Lite’ning Rom v6.1 XXKH3

The phone wifi seem like bad and a bit hang when make a call.

Any solution?

can i change to villian rom then?

Thanks for setting out the top roms. Just wondering – are they in order with Sensation being the best. Which rom are you using personally?

I’m looking for a rom that looks great, without the bloatware, fastest and most battery efficient (arent we all lol).

Any advise would be much appreciated.

I wonder why Cyanogenmod 7 is not listed? I’m currently using it right now. With CM7 my battery can stand for 14 – 18 hours (depends on usage) compared to just 7hours with when I use stock rom.
