Who need the task manager on HTC HD2? Yup. HTC did not put the usual task manager on HTC HD2 desktop. You need to do several clicks in order to dig it out. It is not very user friendly. But I can tell you that I don’t need to use task manager to end any program after using it for 1 week. HTC HD2 has more than enough memory for you and me.

How to enable HTC HD2 camera flash on low battery?
One of the readers, Norm asked, “Do you know where I can find the tweak to enable the camera flash even at low battery levels?” That’s a good question. By default, HTC HD2 camera flash is disabled when battery level drop below 20%. You cannot use camera flash on either photo or video mode. So how to enable HTC HD2 camera flash on low battery?
By changing the registry will do the trick.
[pull_quote_center]HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Battery\
– FlashLightPowerUnavailable value from 1 to 0[/pull_quote_center]
Just in case you need it. Here is the link to Free Windows Mobile Registry Editor. Note – this is not a permanent solution. You need to change the registry again after you soft reset your phone.

Yeah… I love xda-developers. There is lot of interesting stuff over there. One of the forum members, Co0kieMonster created a nice Manila mod to enable 16/20 quicklinks and 3 extended appointments for HTC HD2. And grid view in adding program. Love it.
WMLongLife ~ Auto 2G/3G band switch for Windows Mobile
WMLongLife is an application that installed in my HTC HD2 long time ago but not being used until now. My HTC HD2 battery runs out a little bit fast lately. Maybe due to frequent Internet surfing or battery quality degraded (after 4 months usage?) or poorer signal from my operator ~ Celcom. WMLongLife is an automatic 2G/3G band-switching solution. It will turn on 3G when application like Opera Mobile needs to access Internet. And turn back to 2G mode when no needed. Note – 2G uses much less battery and usually generates less radiation than 3G.
