By default, a long press HTC HD2 endkey will bring up Action Screen. However, it only has 4 items there which are Power Off, Lock Device, Set Vibrate and Terminate Data Connection. XDA member, johcos came out his own Endkey Replacement for HTC HD2. It is like the previous Action Screen but with more options.

How to enable traditional / simplified Chinese on HTC HD2 WWE ROM
One of the things that stop me to try Windows Mobile 6.5.X custom ROM is lacking of Chinese language support. Most of the custom ROMs out there don’t have it. Only a few of them have it. Without it, you will see lot of block shape on those Chinese characters. Finally, I found a solution to enable traditional and simplified Chinese on HTC HD2 Cookie Energy WWE ROM.
Google Maps for Mobile 4.0 ~ Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, Nokia S60 and Windows Mobile.
Google latest gadget ~ Google Buzz comes to Google Maps for Mobile 4.0. It is currently fully supported for Android 2.0+. And Buzz Layer on Google Maps for mobile for other mobile platform except BlackBerry. I am not a big fan of Google Maps because Malaysia maps are not detail enough (at my small hometown Sungai Petani) and slow updated. You still can get high level detail but just not detail enough for me like US or Singapore maps which you can see cars and people from the satellite view. Yeah… That’s what I call maps. But when will it comes to Malaysia?

VolDpad ~ use volume buttons as d-pad for Windows Mobile
Some of the latest smart phones like HTC HD2 do not have hardware d-pad. But some of the old software requires it. So what should you do? Simple, just download VolDpad, install it and use your phone’s volume buttons as the d-pad.
VolDpad Guides
- Volume UP is remaped to d-pad UP. Can be hold for autorepeat.
- Volume DOWN is remaped to d-pad DOWN. Can be hold for autorepeat.
- Double click Volume UP is remaped to d-pad LEFT. Does not support autorepeat.
- Double click Volume DOWN is remaped to d-pad RIGHT. Does not support autorepeat.
- Double click with hold in Volume UP is remaped to d-Pad RETURN with Hold.Does not support autorepeat.
- Double click with hold in Volume DOWN is remaped to d-Pad RETURN.Does not support autorepeat.
- If a call is being established or is active the volume keys will behave normally.
- Running the file a second time will close the resident with a small tone.
Hmm… The volume function is not working anymore on HTC HD2 after installed. But you still can adjust the volume during call. Then, VolDpad is disabled on my case. Anyway, do try it out. It might be a useful tool for you.
