Introduction
There are lot of free video converter software out there. However, none of them that I tried able to convert m2ts file from Panasonic HDC-SD700 HD Camcorder. I guess this is the limitation of freeware. WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe is the HD video converter that I found working with m2ts file type. It supports Multi-track HD video M2TS, MKV, AVCHD, HDTV BDAV and MPEG-TS video sources. And convert them to both portable and console players, such as iPad, iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, PS3, PSP, Xbox, Zune, PDA, Blackberry, Nokia, Android, Zen, etc. Further more, it supports Multi-CPU and Hyper Threading to speed up converting process.

Free Full HD Player Download

Yes… I found a free Full HD player that can play my Panasonic HDC-SD700 1920×1080 50p m2ts files smoothly. The great free VLC Media Player cannot play those MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 1080 50p camcorder video files (playback is slow with hang here and there). It only can play smooth up to 25 fps video clips. However, the search is over. I found Splash Lite ~ the ultimate free HD player!

Compact Flash (CF) Card X-Speed Rating

Compact Flash (CF) Card X-Speed Rating is not exact same as SD, SDHC and SDXC Card Speed Class Rating which use minimum writing speed as guideline. CF card is based on value of X which translate into 1X = 150 KiloBytes per second. The X-Speed rating is up to writing speed (no minimum writing speed defined which mean it might be lower writing speed). Example, 10X is equivalent up to 1.5 MB/s writing speed.
