Samsung Galaxy S III is equipped with ARM Mali-400 MP GPU (overclocked version of Samsung Galaxy S II). So Samsung Galaxy S3 can play Tegra, Snapdragon and PowerVR games with Chainfire3D’s help just like Samsung Galaxy S2. However, Chainfire3D was not updated for quite sometimes. So it does not support the latest NVIDIA Tegra 3 games. Or maybe it does? Anyway, if you have old Tegra 2, Snapdragon and PowerVR games and want to play them on Samsung Galaxy S3. Feel free to install Chainfire3D on Samsung Galaxy S3. Note – root access is required.
Chainfire3D allows you to play Tegra, Snapdragon & PowerVR games on Samsung Galaxy S II with ARM Mali-400 MP GPU. However, by installing Chainfire3D itself does not allow you to play these games yet. Additional plugins are required to install before Chainfire3D can perform the task. Besides, you need to root Samsung Galaxy S2 first in order to use Chainfire3D. Prerequisites
First of all, please get your Samsung Galaxy S2 rooted. Please follow this guide to do so – How to root Samsung Galaxy S2 with CF-Root? (Video). And make a full system backup before install Chainfire3D for just in case – How to backup Samsung Galaxy S2 with ClockworkMod Recovery? (Video). Nothing should go wrong, but no harm to make backup, right?
Finally, I found HTC Rezound benchmark based on per-production Verizon HTC Vigor. I keep following HTC Rezound specifications because it will be the first HTC smartphone with 4.3″ 720p HD resolution display. Having 720p HD (1280×720) on 4.3″ display == ~342 ppi pixel density. The display quality should be better than iPhone 4 / 4S retina display (~330 ppi pixel density) and Samsung Galaxy S II Super AMOLED Plus (~217 ppi pixel density). And might even better than Galaxy Nexus / Samsung Galaxy Note which using PenTile HD Super AMOLED. Anyway, after seeing HTC Rezound benchmark score. HTC Rezound is not my cup of tea anymore…
