Download DFT LEO MAGLDR Bootloader for HTC HD2

NAND Android on HTC HD2 cannot work without the help of DFT LEO MAGLDR Bootloader. It is a 2011 New Year Gift from DFT. MAGLDR Bootloader can load Android from SD card, Android from NAND and even Windows Phone 7 from NAND (when it comes out). It even has Tetris game loaded. Besides, you can turn SD card as USB Drive directly without entering any OS. Thanks to DFT for this wonderful gift.

Love iPhone 4 so much but don’t have money to buy one? Try out Jaws-MIUI NAND Android ROM and turn your HTC HD2 into iPhone 4. MIUI is another great mod besides CyanogenMod. I like its Theme Manager, MIUI Music, Miren Browser… More stuffs and enhancements will be added in the future. It is based on Android 2.2.1 Froyo, MIUI 31-12 and using Hastarin 8.6 oldcam by tytung Kernel.

Download dandiest Desire Z Android ROM for HTC HD2

Finally, I tested HTC Desire Z Android ROM for HTC HD2. I don’t care much about it because why we need to have hardware keyboard ROM on HTC HD2. Based on xda-developer, dandiest, HTC Desire Z has exactly the same features, but in some sense, lighter than Desire HD, which is more suitable for HD2. The build is based on latest Desire Z v1.72.466.4, Cedesmith new Initrd and Hastarin r8.6 kernel. And running Android 2.2.1. No harm to try it out, right?

Yeah… Theme Manager is working on MIUI Android ROM finally. I am testing the latest MIUI 03-12-10 and using Hastarin 8.5.1 oldcam Kernel from xda-developer, lesjaw ~ Jaws-MIUI. Everything is looking good to me especially the theme. Too bad that it does not have Miren Browser built-in (but you can always install it yourself). HTC Sense lover can install MIUI FancyWidget Mod to make it more Sense like.

Download FutureShocks MIUI NAND + DATA.IMG Android ROM for HTC HD2

One of the main issue of NAND Android build ~ lack of internal storage space. Most of the builds have only 150MB to 200MB left on NAND memory. So we need to manually move the application + data into SD card ourselves. But this changed now, there are several NAND Android builds are using DATA.IMG at SD card to act as internal storage. Further more, you can increase the image size to match your large SD card. Sooner or later most of the NAND Android builds will use this kind of method.

I tried RAFDROID HD v1.0, imilkas` HD2Z v0.1 and FutureShocks MIUI v1. RAFDROID HD is slow, imilkas` HD2Z can’t be rooted, and only FutureShocks MIUI passed my test. FutureShocks MIUI is based on Android 2.2.1 Froyo, MIUI 31-12 and using prj v0.3 Kernel. Default language is German but you can change to English during phone setup.
