Celcom 4G LTE on Galaxy Note 3

Enjoy free Celcom 4G LTE access from now till 31 December 2014. Yes, my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is getting 4G LTE data connection right now. And the speed is fast. However, Celcom 4G LTE does not fully cover the whole Malaysia. And have limited coverage at my home town, Sungai Petani, Kedah. But hey, I still can enjoy it. Better than nothing at all, right? Too bad, my Galaxy S4 I9500 supports 3G only. Hehe… Maybe I can use it as excuse to change to Galaxy S5?

Samsung KNOX is a comprehensive hardware and software security solution for new Samsung devices like Galaxy Note 3. And latest firmware on Galaxy S4 has it too. It is more toward to enterprise because business has more important and sensitive data. Lot of useful security features but not for average daily users. And one of the negative feature that most of the Android users who require root access dislike – warranty void after rooted. This applies to custom kernel, ROM, firmware, recovery and modem installation. In short, anything unofficial will trigger the KNOX warranty void to 0x1.

Where to buy Google Nexus 4 in Malaysia?

US Google Play Store is the best place to buy Google Nexus 4. And it is the cheapest too. But LG does not provide international warranty like Asus does for nexus 7. Therefore, you need to bare the risk of having it without local warranty in Malaysia. So where to buy Nexus 4 with LG Malaysia warranty? Nexus 4 is exclusively sold by DiGi Malaysia. You can get it with DiGi plan or without contract (terms & conditions apply).

Want to get the retail unit without any terms? Hotspot Malaysia (located at Low Yat Plaza) is the Nexus shop that selling it (They get from DiGi also). And another is senQ / Senheng (which offer extra 1 year warranty for PlusOne member) but I am not sure it is LG Malaysia warranty or not.
