I planned to get HP Pavilion dm1-4000 Entertainment Notebook PC after dump the idea to getting Asus Transformer Prime TF201 as notebook replacement. Called more than 10 phone calls to notebook shops and could not find HP Pavilion dm1-4000 demo unit in Penang (wish to hand on before buy). Even HP itself does not know where got demo unit. Looking a new mobile phone make me to study lot of new stuffs. There is another new display technology (to me) called organic light emitting diode (OLED). The widely common use now is thin film transistor (TFT) LCD technology. Most of the LCD monitor is using this TFT LCD like my Dell UltraSharp U2410 which use H-IPS panel. Each of the display technology has it own advantages and disadvantages. So choose wisely.

LCD monitor… Which LCD monitor should I choose? By the way, I am using Samsung 2253BW 22″ LCD monitor at office. I don’t face any problem with it on daily office works. However, does is perform well in games? Movie? I did not try that in the office. 😛 There is another new LCD monitor from Samsung. It is Samsung T220 LCD monitor. Its outlook is better and Contrast Ratio is higher – 20,000 compare to 2253BW – 8,000. Of course, the price is higher too. As for the other specifications, they are almost the same.
