CyanogenMod 7 should be the best Android ROM for HTC HD2 (MIUI too). It is faster than HTC Sense builds. Besides, it is smaller in size too so you can have more internal storage disk space. HyperDroid v3 is based on CyanogenMod 7.1.0 RC0 (Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread) and using seader_R5 Kernel. As usual, it has strange LCD density. HTC HD2 is a great phone. You can run stock Windows Mobile 6.5 on it. Err… WinMo 6.5 is a little bit outdated. No worry, you can install custom ROMs like Android and Windows Phone 7. Personally, I don’t recommend WP7 unless you need to use a killer app only build for it (but I doubt that). So Android OS is the one that you should get. HyperDroid CM7 is another build from XDA Developer, pongster. It is built from the source (CyanogenMod 7) and tweaked for performance. As usual, I changed it LCD density to 240 because I don’t like the default 167 density. This ROM is based on Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and using Tytung r8.3 Kernel.

CyanogenMod 7 Android ROM for HTC HD2 is getting better each day. Thanks to all the developers that making these wonderful builds. Here is another great release from XDA Developer, pongster. It is based on CyanogenMod 7 final stable version (Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread) and using Tytung r9 Kernel which supports unique Bluetooth MAC address, Bluetooth auto-reconnect and two-way call recording. And should not have first call robotic voice issue too.

Finally, XDA Developer, pongster updated his build ~ HyperDroid CM7 to v2.1.0 which is based on latest CyanogenMod 7 Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread and using latest Tytung R10 Kernel. As usual, it supports Google Talk v1.3 which has video and voice chat functions.
