Yeah… The new HTC One (M8) is here finally. What are the new features that catch my eyes? The duo camera. It lets you control the focus point of foreground and background. The second camera helps to capture the depth of the scene so you can have better bokeh effect like SLR camera with UFocus. Better front facing camera. External MicroSD card supported but come with 16GB model only (for the moment, 32GB model comes later). Better processor – Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 likes Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2.

How to S-OFF HTC One (M8)?

Firewater team managed to S-OFF the latest flapship from HTC. Malaysia does not even have the phone yet and it was S-OFF. Wow… This will make lot of HTC fans happy because they can enjoy root access, custom ROM and lot of unofficial modification without voiding warranty. Trade in HTC One X for HTC One at RM999, worth it?
HTC Malaysia had a special trade in program last month ~ HTC One X to HTC One for RM999. However, that was at KL only. But they extended to several places like Selangor, Kuching, Sibu, Penang & Johor Bahru and new dates until 13th October. Too bad that I missed the chance at Penang again. Anyway, I have a question in my mind – does it worth to trade in HTC One X for HTC One at RM999?
Smart wearable is the future ~ Android Wear
Normal simple watch is getting replaced by smart wearable real soon. Why? Google has just announced Android Wear, an open Android-powered platform loaded with Google Now and voice search. Voice recognition is very important in smart wear as we can’t type in that small screen. You will see lot of these smart gadgets in the future when speech recognition is mature. And lot of hardware manufacturers like Asus, HTC, LG and Motorola are supporting it. Not just Samsung only. Therefore, it should be like the next smartphone.
