Yeah… As a hardcore gamer, I always want to get the best gaming performance. Overclock Samsung Galaxy S4 GPU should be able to bring me that, right? Yes, it does improve overall 3D graphics speed of PowerVR SGX544MP3 GPU (for GT-I9500). Of course, it also increase the overheat chances. So perform this task carefully, don’t burn your precious Galaxy S4. So far I did not encounter Android games that require more GPU power that Galaxy S4 can output. So GPU overclocking is once again as a show off only. Until the need of speed in the future…

Want to get better 3D gaming performance on Google Nexus 4? Well, you can overclock Adreno 320 GPU to do so. Of course, you need to install custom kernel that support GPU overclocking in order to do so. And make sure that your Nexus 4 is not overheat else it will auto reduce GPU clock speed as well just like CPU do. Does overclock Nexus 4 GPU really improve 3D games performance? Try it to find out…

Note – overclock will reduce Qualcomm APQ8064 CPU, Adreno 320 GPU and other hardware components lifespan because it will overheat easily. Do it at your own risk.

Free Full HD Player Download

Yes… I found a free Full HD player that can play my Panasonic HDC-SD700 1920×1080 50p m2ts files smoothly. The great free VLC Media Player cannot play those MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 1080 50p camcorder video files (playback is slow with hang here and there). It only can play smooth up to 25 fps video clips. However, the search is over. I found Splash Lite ~ the ultimate free HD player!

GPU-Z ~ a free utility designed to give you all information about your video card and GPU. It provides displays adapter, GPU and display information. It also provides displays overclock, default clocks and 3D clocks. I use it to trace my ATI HD 4870 GPU temp and fan speed. It has log to file function. Therefore, you can trace these during game play.
