Yahoo… Android 4.4 KitKat users rejoice. You can enjoy the latest Google Camera on your Android phone and tablet. What are the new features? Lens Blur mode for SLR-like photos with shallow depth of field is the one that interest me the most. You do have Photo Spheres for immersive 360º views and Panorama mode with high resolution too. Photos took by Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) will never be the same with Lens Blur mode.

How to install Android L on Nexus 4?
You can enjoy latest and greatest Google OS ~ Android L on Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) officially. However, Google did not make an official one for older Nexus devices like Nexus 4. But the community had done it for all of us. Well, the Android L is a developer preview OS. Therefore, it should have bugs. Not to mention this Nexus 4 ROM which ported from it. It might have even more bugs flying around. However, if you happen to have CWM or TWRP installed on your Nexus 4, no harm to try it. Just make a backup first…
Google Maps Navigation is available in Malaysia
Yeah… Google Maps Navigation is officially available in Malaysia. No need hack version to use the navigation feature anymore. Does it better than Waze: Free GPS Navigation with Turn by Turn? Well, at least Google Navigation provides correct route from my house to other places. Waze provides the no entry path ~ a minor mistake. Anyway, both require Internet access as they are online GPS navigator (not like Papago offline version).
Google Nexus 7 (2013) ~ Ask your question here
Yes… Google Nexus 7 (2013) is in the house. It is not for sales at lot of places yet. So this unit came from US. Initial seller couldn’t make it on time, so I ended up getting from my previous 1st generation seller again. The availability and price of Nexus 7 (2013) at Malaysia? It should come in the middle of September or later. So don’t bother to get it from US if you can wait. As for the price, it should be RM999 for 16GB Wi-Fi and RM1099 for 32GB Wi-Fi (based on 1st gen pricing). No news about LTE version yet.
Stream local videos to ChromeCast with LocalCast
ChromeCast is a nice gadget from Google. However, you can’t play local videos from your Android device to it. But this will change in the future as Google is planning to do so soon. If you can’t wait, you can always try LocalCast now. Enjoy your own videos on big TV screen. Hopefully, music and photo casting will be added soon.
