There was a case on 11Street where a man ordered iPhone 6S but received steel padlock instead in Malaysia last month. Here is another new case where another person bought Redmi Note 3 from Mi Malaysia online store with some other accessories. Out of his surprise, he found out the parcel have accessories with a free screen cleaner bunny only. No Redmi Note 3 there. FedEx was the courier that sending the parcel. Who fault is it then? The buyer? Mi Malaysia? Or FedEx?

Slow shipping from Xiaomi Malaysia
Err… Why the latest Xiaomi shipping process is so slow? Based on Xiaomi Malaysia shipping FAQ, item will need 3-6 working days (excludes weekend and public holiday) in West Malaysia, and within 5-8 working days in East Malaysia to arrive. I ordered Mi Band and Mi In-Ear Headphones in first open sales on 28 January 2015. Items were processed the next day. However, it does not ship out the day after which it usually does. Something must be gone wrong or Mi Malaysia changed the shipping process. Yup, they did. They used FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution previously and using FedEx International Economy now. And items do not shipping direct from ShenZhen, China to your house anymore. Instead, they likely shipped in bulk to Malaysia first then distribute to your house. This will increase the shipping time…
Fast shipping from Xiaomi Malaysia
Wow… I got my mom’s Redmi 1S yesterday. The delivery is fast. I was hoping to get it on Saturday but FedEx didn’t show up. Surprise!!! FedEx delivered it on Sunday. I thought Sunday is not a working day for both FedEx and UPS. Guess that I was wrong. Based on Mi Malaysia website, you should get Xiaomi product within 6-8 working days after paid. Guess that I am a little bit lucky. My sister who ordered Redmi Note should receive hers today because the package is on FedEx vehicle for delivery as of 12:22pm.
