Yes, one of my favourite Android ROM ~ MIUI has finally started to use Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread from now on. And its latest version 1.4.1 has lot of new features (maybe I missed them in previous releases). Anyway, I love its launcher transition effect ~ classic, crossfade, falldown, page, cascading, rotation and 3D cube. And its big toggles interface is easier to use than before. HTC HD2 is a great phone. You can run stock Windows Mobile 6.5 on it. Err… WinMo 6.5 is a little bit outdated. No worry, you can install custom ROMs like Android and Windows Phone 7. Personally, I don’t recommend WP7 unless you need to use a killer app only build for it (but I doubt that). So Android OS is the one that you should get. And here are the latest and greatest Android ROM based on Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread that you should try.
MIUI == Android + iOS in short. You have iPhone 4 interface on top of the best Android OS with MIUI Android ROM. And lot of new MIUI features specially designed by the China MIUI team. I just discovered the new MIUI camera module. The only downside, it is still using Android 2.2.1 Froyo. So Gingerbread lovers, this is not for you. And it is using tytung R2 Kernel. Officially, MIUI.cn does develop native ROM for HTC HD2. It supports Chinese language by default and English too (but translation not complete).
