Android is installed at SD card on HTC HD2. The easiest way to access SD card on Android HTC HD2 ~ take SD card out from HTC HD2, then insert into SD card reader. Custom Windows Mobile ROM requires latest radio ROM in order to work too. Same apply to custom Android 2.2 Froyo ROM. CustomRUU for HTC HD2 is the tool that uses to flash the radio ROM. It will perform ‘task 32’ instead of a ‘task 28’ after flashing an .nbh. And it will not format device if just flash a radio or a splash screen.

Tried several different Android 2.2 build from HTC Desire build to Google Nexus One build. None of them are working. Installation failed for unknown reason -18. Finally, I found a solution to fix can’t install application issue on Android HTC HD2.
One of the thing that missing in Android build for HTC HD2 ~ file manager. I tried to look for Android file explorer like Windows Mobile but failed. Then, I found lot of file manager in Android Market like ASTRO File Manager, Linda File Manager… However, most of them are adware. And requires Internet connection access due to the advertisements.
