Fring is a free mobile application that lets users communicate with friends on popular networks like fring, Facebook, MSN Messenger, ICQ, Google Talk, Twitter, AIM and Yahoo over internet connection. Free calls (over IP) to other fringsters, or via MSN Messenger, Google Talk, or your SIP provider.
Yeah… There are free Internet radio stations for you through Slacker Radio on Windows Mobile. Slacker Radio has been optimized for the HTC HD2, which features Windows Mobile 6.5 and a screen resolution of 480×800. Other smartphones like HTC Imagio, HTC Pure, HTC Tilt2, LG eXpo & the Samsung Omnia II have no problem to use it too. It also available in other mobile devices like BlackBerry, iPhone, Android and Palm.
Google Translator is one of the useful tools that I like. However, it does not support Windows Mobile officially. And only developed for Google own OS ~ Android. However, XDA member, chargedRam created a version of Google Translator for Windows Mobile called Anuvadak (==Translator in Hindi).
I love to use Opera Mobile on my HTC HD2. However, it does not support Adobe Flash. I have to use Internet Explorer in order to view Flash content. But I don’t like Internet Explorer because it does not support pinch and zoom like Opera Mobile does. Luckily, I found a solution to install Flash to Opera Mobile 9.7 (Didn’t try on 9.5 or 10 beta yet) on Windows Mobile 6.5.
Skype… This is not an uncommon word for you and me. Most of us who connected to Internet should know that Skype ~ a free Internet phone calls application. I had been using Skype (desktop version) during my business trips to China last few years. It is my best and cheapest solution to call back home when traveling. And I got it on my HTC HD2 now.
