Download DFT HSPL4 for HTC HD2

Yeah… DFT team released HSPL4 for all of us finally. Good news for those using latest official HTC HD2 ROM v3.14 because it supports SPL 3.03.0000. Note – SPL-3.03.HSPL only supports Windows Mobile 6.5. You still need to use SPL-2.08.HSPL to use NAND Android and Windows Phone 7. Make sure that you select the correct Hard SPL for your ROM installation.

How to Install ClockworkMod Recovery on HTC HD2? (Video)

HTC HD2 is getting more like a native Android phone each day. We are able to flash NAND Android through PC. And with ClockworkMod Recovery, we can flash NAND Android on HTC HD2 through SD card without PC. Further more, we can flash ROM in update.zip format, backup and restore ROM using Nandroid. Note – by installing ClockworkMod Recovery, your existing NAND Android ROM will be deleted. So everything on your phone is gone…

Finally, NAND Android for HTC HD2 is arrived. Thanks to DFT and all the developers that make it happens. We don’t need to boot into Windows Mobile 6.5 first then load Android anymore. But this means we can’t use Windows Mobile 6.5 anymore and until Windows Phone 7 ROM comes out. You are stuck with Android only if you install DFT MAGLDR Bootloader and NAND Android ROM for HTC HD2. How to Install MAGLDR on HTC HD2? (Video)

In order to install NAND Android on HTC HD2, you must install DFT MAGLDR Bootloader first. And the good news ~ both LEO512 and LEO1024 are supported. This means US T-Mobile HD2, Europe, Asia and the rest of the world’s HTC HD2 are supported. Do read this post for its usage and more information about DFT MAGLDR Bootloader.

Note – by installing MAGLDR, you cannot boot into Windows Mobile 6.5 anymore. And Android on SD card is not working on MAGLDR v1.11. I tried 2 builds ~ Android booted and hang there. So everything on your phone is gone…
