Yes, another custom Amazon Kindle Fire ROM was released. It is HellFire Kindle CM7 ROM. And based on Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread which I prefer. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on Kindle Fire is still not perfect yet. And will be better when ICS kernel is fixed. Until then, I am sticking to Gingerbread ROM like CM7 on my Kindle Fire. How about you?
CyanogenMod 7 for Samsung Galaxy S II may not be the most stable ROM. It is still in nightly development stage. But due to that, you can try the latest Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread GWK74 on Samsung Galaxy S2 now. And it is using XXKI3 baseband from latest official firmware.

If you still own HTC HD2, Android should be the operating system on it instead of old Windows Mobile 6.5. And the good news, there are still lot of developers working hard to develop Android ROM for HTC HD2. TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 is one of them. And it is based on latest Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread GWK74 and using latest Tytung r12.4 Kernel. Besides, it is equipped with latest SuperUser 3.0 and new Android Market 3.1.5 too. And I like the new ring lockscreen style in CM7.
