HTC HD2 is going to be phone of the year 2011 again. It came with Windows Mobile 6.5 in year 2009 and running Android 2.2 Froyo on SD card on year 2010. Just got NAND Android treatment last month. And here come Windows Phone 7 on HTC HD2. Who dare to say that 5 buttons’ HTC HD2 cannot support Windows Phone 7 now?

Install NAND Android on HTC HD2 with ClockworkMod Recovery is the 2nd method to have NAND Android on HTC HD2. And this can be done by using SD card only without PC. Just download the zip ROM to your SD card and you are ready to go. In addition, you can backup and restore ROM using Nandroid. Or you can try the 1st method through DFT MAGLDR Bootloader which requires PC with USB connection.

Sprint HTC EVO 4G is one of the best Android phones out there. I wish that I can own it but it is for US only. It is a nice phone but can be improved further with some tweaks and hacks. There are different kernel build for Android HTC HD2. The kernel developers continue to improve it and release every few days. However, the ROM chefs might not update their build. So we have to do it ourselves. Actually, it is not hard and really simple to upgrade the kernel. Just cut and paste…
HyperDroid ~ The Ultimate CyanogenMod 6 Final Android ROM for the HD2! Yup, here is another Android build for our lovely HTC HD2. It is a completely customized and optimized HD2 Android 2.2 (Froyo) from source (based on CyanogenMod-6.0.1 + Latest Tested & Stable Nightly). Just plays it for a while… It failed to auto connect to my WiFi router during startup. I need to connect manually. Had some touch screen freeze issue from time to time.
