Nothing special about the hard drive packaging. It came well-protected in an antistatic bag inside a simple plastic clamshell. Of course, there is extra protection in the shipping package too. As for build quality, it is outstanding. Period. Rock solid all-metal housing as you can see. Just a simple paper label on the front. At the back, there is PCB of the hard drive. You can’t miss the standard SATA 6 Gb/s interface with two connectors. One for power and another one for data transfer. As usual, don’t tamper with the label, screws and anything else other than installing it properly. Else your HDD warranty will be void.
