Package Content & Design
There are SonicGo BikeClipZ, bicycle clip, USB-C cable, AUX cable and user manual in the package. The bicycle clip comes with 2 layers of rubber as you can see. Rest assured that it will hold on tight on your bike.
Excellent build quality for the price. Rock solid plastic housing yet stylish in design. Lightweight and compact in size. It has nice to touch fabric cover in the front. The 45mm speaker driver with 5W RMS output is there too. 3 colours to choose – black, green and red.
There is a built-in clip that lets you attach to your belt at the back. That’s the one to attach to bicycle clip too.
All the ports are covered on the top – AUX, USB port, USB-C port (for charging) and micro SD slot. The tiny one is LED light indicator. Yes, it is IPX5 splashproof that’s great for outdoor activities.
Performance Result
Outstanding Bluetooth range! SonicGo Clipz can connect up to 9m with obstacles like wall. Connection is stable. Furthermore, audio and video are virtually in-sync. Don’t forget that they support TWS function that lets you enjoy actual stereo effect. Double total power output from 5W RMS to 10W RMS too.
In addition, it supports FM radio, MP3 player and speakerphone for phone call. Working well as expected. But you need to connect AUX cable to act as external antenna for FM radio mode. Based on specs, they can play up to 5 hours of non-stop music. And takes around 2 hours to fully charge.
Great sound for the price. SonicGear SonicGo BikeClipZ comes with clear and clean treble. Bass is decent but don’t expect powerful one. This is normal for such small speaker.
