Packaging and Design
Everything comes well protected. There are SonicGear Jewel 2, USB-C charging cable, additional ear tips (S & L), and user manual. You can’t miss the lovely see-through charging case with LED number display.
Build quality is great for the price. Sturdy plastic housing is what you get. Compact in size and light in weight. The SonicGear logo is a touchable multi-function button. LED light indicator and microphone are located at bottom of the logo.
Mine is white in colour. There are black and light blue to choose from as well.
Fit, Comfort & Isolation
As for fitting, it is decent. Just pick the correct ear tips and you are good to go. It does stay secure while exercising and jogging. No worry about dropping it at all since it’s so light. Comfort to wear for long hours. Don’t forget the useful IPX4 water resistant. Lastly, it has great passive noise isolation. It blocks some of the environment noises while music is being played.
Performance Result
Excellent Bluetooth range for true wireless earphones. Jewel 2 can go up to 7m with obstacles like walls. The connection is stable. Audio and video are virtually in sync that great for movies, games and so on. Lastly, you can use it as stereo or mono as you wish.
Based on specs, you can enjoy up to 5 hours of music playback. Up to 15 hours of listening with the charging case. More than enough for your daily activities. By the way, the microphone is great thanks for ENC support.
SonicGear Jewel 2 has excellent sounds for the price. A nice TWS earbuds with natural sound signature. Both treble and bass are well in control. Clean highs, balanced mids and nice lows. The soundstage is considered wide for the price too. In short, the sound output is well-tuned. I like it.
