Everything comes well-protected. One taken the soundbar and subwoofer out, you can find remote control, TOSLINK optical cable, stereo 3.5mm audio cable, power adaptor, screws and user manual in the package.
Excellent build quality for the price. The soundbar itself has metal as housing (with minor plastic parts). And loaded with 4 x 2″ speaker drivers. Having 30W total power output (RMS).
The playback control buttons are located on the right of the soundbar. They will be handy when remote control is not around.
All the inputs are located at middle of the back. Yes, there are USB port for MP3, AUX line in, coaxial and S/PDIF digital inputs, subwoofer output and DC input for power.

Performance Result
Before going to sound quality, let’s us find out all its functions and features first. For Bluetooth range, it is great. Easily go up to 8m+ with obstacles like wall. In addition, it has virtually no lag between video and audio. That’s great for playing games and watching movie on your smartphone and tablet. FM radio reception is decent thanks to external antenna. Just adjust the antenna to get the best signal. As for MP3 player, it works as expected. It will start playing songs after plugged in USB flash drive.
Yes, this is the LED indicator in the middle of the soundbar for audio source, sound volume and so on. The remote control is very handy and can reach up to 8m easily. You can control the soundbar while sitting way back from the TV. By the way, there are 6 EQ modes – normal, rock, POP, classic, jazz and country. Just pick the one that suit you (only available on Bluetooth and AUX mode). Lastly, the only one complaint that I have – it can’t remember last used audio source, volume level and EQ after power off. So do keep it as standby to save those settings. But it always starts in AUX mode when turned on. S/PDIF users do take note…
Sound Quality
Yes, the bull is rushing and kicking! SB501 sound excellent for the price. Period. OXAYOI does a very good job on tuning the audio for this soundbar. Digital connections are working great. By the way, you get the cleanest audio quality through digital. As long as your TV and TV Box support them, you are good to go. Of course, other connections are working well as expected too.
As for sound signature, it is balanced. Optical connection is being used here so everything is processed by the soundbar itself. You don’t need to adjust EQ, treble and bass level to get the best audio experience (you can’t too). It is at its best out of the box. 60W total power (RMS) is good enough to blast in the large living room. That’s great!
For details, highs are clear and bright. Sharp too thanks to small speaker drivers. No worry, there is no harshness at all. For mids, vocals for both male and female sound nice. Clear as usual. You won’t miss any dialogue in the TV drama from now on. Lows are there. Punchy for its size. You can feel its powerful and deep bass in those action scenes. Overall, it is a pleasure to use OXAYOI Emerarudo SB501 BTUR for gaming, watching movie and music listening.
