Design & Build Quality
Linner NC50 build quality is excellent thanks to sturdy and smooth matte plastic housing with magnetic metal plate. Cable is flat and solid. Again, it has smooth matte surface that nice to touch too. Besides being an ANC earphones, Linner NC50 does have built-in microphone for phone call. And remote to control media playback, volume and even answering call. On the main body, it has ANC / monitor toggle button, LED light indicator, power button and micro USB port for charging. Do refer to all the photos for design details. Fit, Comfort & Isolation
Yes, no problem to get a good fit with multiple of ear tip sizes. Thanks to relative small housing and 45 nozzle design too. The bundled wingtips help to keep this IEM attached to my ears on light exercise and jogging. The neckband design helps as well. Wireless earphones is much better at sport compare to wired ones. As for native isolation, it is average as expected.
Performance Result
Being a Bluetooth earphones, wireless range is the most important as you don’t want to get disconnected from time to time. Yes, Linner NC50 performs very well here. Exceeds 10m Bluetooth range in straight sight line with no obstacle easily. And up to 7m with obstacles. By the way, it also support Multipoint function that let you connect 2 devices at the same time. Yes, you can answer call from phone and listen to music from tablet. No need to disconnect and reconnect here. Convenient, right? Yes, phone call quality is excellent. Others can hear my voice loud and clear.
I am getting around 10 hours of non-stop music playback. All thanks to built-in 200mAh lithium battery. Surely more than enough for your daily sport activities. As usual, tests were done on average room sound level with ANC turned on. Battery life is longer with ANC turned off. For your information, it will mention battery life status through voice notification when power up. And there is battery indicator status on iOS and Android devices as well. Lastly, it requires less than 1 and a half hour to fully charge.
Linner NC50 has excellent active noise cancelling. Yes, it does remove some of the external ambient noises. Perfect for busy workplace, public transport and long flight. Enjoy your music only without external noises. Want to hear outside announcements or conversation? Just use the monitor mode – it will reduce your music volume and enhance environment sounds. And press ANC mode to go back to your music. Nice feature, right? No need to remove earbuds at all.
Balanced sound signature is what you will get from Linner NC50 (slightly toward warm with perfect ear tips seal). Not too sharp for treble nor too much bass. All of them are well in controlled. Soundstage is decent as all the instruments placement can be hear clearly. And it has virtually no lag between video and audio through its Bluetooth connection. That’s great for watching movie and playing games as well on top on listening to music. Overall, it sounds great for a budget ANC Bluetooth sport earphones.
