Asus AiMesh is the latest goodies for high end Asus wireless router. AiMesh create a single, house-wide network name so there’s no need to constantly switch between networks as you roam around your home. Isn’t that great? AiMesh works best by connecting 2 routers with wired LAN connection. Wireless is workable but performance is not so good. Basically, it’s just like repeater mode with single SSID. Anyway, do try it out yourself. Back to the topic, do factory data reset your whenever upgrade / downgrade several firmware revision. Or change from 3rd party firmware like Merlin.
