How to watch Hong Kong drama series on PPS TV?
- Open up Control Panel.
- Go to Region and Language.
- Then go to Administrative tab.
- Click on Change system Locale.
- Select Chinese (Simplified, PRC). Or any other Chinese locale.
- Then restart PC.
This method will only work for a while only. The Hong Kong drama list will disappear again after you close PPS TV. And you have to change the system locale to another one in order to bring it back again. As I said ~ not user friendly and permanent method but you get to watch HK drama…

maybe haderine follows the author’s twitter because the author have tweet about link change.
but i use the ‘Join this site with Google Friend Connect’ to follow the site with my blogger so i no need to find so hard even link been changed, just have to open my blogger and click on the link =)

For ppsarea.ini, edit it using administrator and replace the areainfo as shown below.

PPS 2.7.0.1515 unable to watch Hong Kong movie and drama. What is solution?

From 15 or16th of march,2013 you will no longer be able to watch tvb or the latest film if you are outside China, you get a message ,服务不存在，停止播放 (Service unavailable, stop .)even 2011 version of pps will not work. DELETE PPS

You can download from this website. I try and it work for old version (V2.7.0.1505). Please don’t upgrade to the new version. Once you have install and follow below to change the 2 files and it sure work.

I have just try and I have no problem
I have download into another Notebook also no problem. Please uninstall the program first and download this file as Save instead of Run. Once you are done, pls disconnect from internet and install the file again first. Once you have done with the install, please check on the version to confirm first. After then please exit from the program and change the 2 files. Please remember to click to Read-Only once you save.
Finally, you can connect to the program and they will ask you to upgrade. Please DON’T UPGRADE.
