How to remove bloatware on Google Nexus 7? Seriously, are there still bloatware on Nexus 7? It is already a very slim and clean stock Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Well, I use Nexus 7 as a gaming machine and Internet browsing tool. And use most of other stuffs on my smartphone. So there are several built-in applications are considered bloatware to me. For example, Currents, Earth, Email, Google+, Massager, People, Talk… Remove them might save some memory resources for better gaming.

How to disable built-in system application on Nexus 7?
- Go to Settings.
- Select Apps.
- Select ALL tab.
- Select the application that you want to disable.
- Click on Uninstall updates (if have).
- Click on Disable.
- Confirm it by select OK.
- That’s all.
Note – Disabled applications are put at bottom of the list. You can enable them back anytime you want.
Does this clear up internal storage memory?
No.
Well that’s not really removing the bloatware then is it?
Not really in term of disk space. But bloatware won’t eat your CPU and memory resources anymore.
Thank you! this was extremely helpful.
Thank you! I had no idea about this. I’ve been complaining about the bloat for 2 years.
