Finally, my Honda City passed 5000 km mileage. Had 2nd free preventive maintenance at Lee Motors Alor Setar (Car Div) Sdn Bhd, Sungai Petani. Another free preventive maintenance to go at 10,000 km. So how is Honda City fuel consumption after 5000 km?
12.3 km/l on D mode with 100% city drive. Driving at 60 km/h most of the time due to slow traffic at Sungai Petani. Petrol that being used was Caltex Techron RON95.
Being playing around with S automatic and manual mode for quite sometimes after passed 1000 km. Pickup power is better as it stays at low gear most of the time. And this translates to more fuel consumption…
