Package Content
FUNWHOLE Medieval Pier Inn arrived in a big package. Well-protected as usual. Take your time to unbox them. The building bricks are packed according to the assembly stages. For example, this pack is for 1st stage and it is the 4th package. So you don’t need to open all the packages. One stage at a time.
5 sets of LED light kits. As usual, unpack them when needed according to the building stage. That’s all.
Here are the stickers and support info. FYI, you can ask FUNWHOLE to send over the missing piece (if there is any). You should not need to do so because they include a lot of extra pieces usually.
Here are the battery holder with USB port output, useful brick separator and tool for stickers & wires.
Lastly, large user manual in colour. There are 2 sets this round. As usual, they are very detailed step by step guides. For your information, there are soft copies on their website too. Just follow them and build the LEGO set will do. You can also check out other sets. Check them and decide which one to buy.
Design & Build Quality
I am no stranger to FUNWHOLE bricks. Own several of them. Yes, their quality is excellent for the price. They are on par with LEGO bricks. And hold well together. You need to use some force to separate them, especially those smaller ones.
Here are some parts of the LED light kits. I use power bank instead of the included battery holder. You can do so too.
There are 12 stages in Medieval Pier Inn. Just like most of the FUNWHOLE brick sets, it is suitable for 8 years old and above. Well, it is easy to build the building. Just follow the step by step guide will do. My 11-year-old boy is the one that built it. As usual, I was the one that installed the lights and connected the wires.
Build from the bottom to up. The basement is connected to the sea. And store kegs and various items.
FYI, wires installation can be tricky for some especially those with big hands. Anyway, take your time and you can do so in the end. No worries.
The first floor is reserved for guests to chat and play cards. Be sure to invite all your friends.
Here is the brewhouse on the second floor.
Continue to build the root for both front and back.
The other side is the owner’s private space. FYI, the roof can be opened and closed as you wish.
Alright, meet Medieval Pier Inn by FUNWHOLE. As usual, it looks the best with LED lights turned on. All the LED lights’ wires are well hidden between the bricks and inside the building.
