Yes… Yes… darkstone is back again with his SuperRAM build on NAND memory now. It is based on AdamG’s Oxygen v1.2 ROM for the HTC Desire which using Android 2.2.1 Froyo and custom Hastarin eb Kernel. As usual, the entire Android OS file system is stored in RAM before it is booted. NAND + RAM == super I/O? Let’s find out…
SUPER INDEED. The highest Quadrant I/O score ever. And high CPU score too (but overclocked by default). You can enable APPS to SD with darkstone’s own method. Read the guide on xda-developers website. By the way, the booting is around 50 seconds for me. Enjoy…

Yeaahh! You’re the best jayce! I will try the soonest!
This is what im waiting for…..
DarkStone Build is the BEST…..!!!!
π
Well this is RC1 only so don’t get carried away yet as there are many issues. But you gotta love the speed of this build. Its lightening fast!!!
act, i have been use darkstone build since RAM edition, coz i like the speed of this build compare to MDJ build. for sure i will keep track of DarkStone build from time to time either at Mr Jaycee site or XDA…..Anyway thanx for ur advice…. π
I’ve had a few problems with this build.
1. Constant delays when unlocking, sometimes it wont come on and I have to press keys again.
2. Screen turns white (inverted) randomly.
Tried rebooting a couple of times but the above problems persist.
Not complaining as build seems fast but not stable and useable for me. The majority are happy but thought I’d highlight the issues I had.
But, as DarkStone him self stated “THIS IS A HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL ROM, I CAN’T GUARANTEE THIS WILL BE COMPLETELY STABLE. DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU NEED 100% STABILITY.”
Thanks Darkstone
I totally agree with item 1… but, ever since i have converted my HD2 into android based, DarkStone build seems the fastest on my device… π
I am confident DarkStone will have the perfect Android Build one day… i’m positive…
Thanx DarkStone, Jayce and XDA~!!!
I tried this rom and it doesn’t work.. It boots but then about a minute later it will reset the phone and then boots again and freezes. I don’t know if i installed it wrong or what
Other ROM is working for you? Or the same?
The jdms ultimate works great. The supernand is the only only other one I tried and it didn’t work
Then it is SuperNAND ROM issue…
same as my last time = =
The jdm works perfectly I just wanted to try the supernand
It is RC1. So bugs do exist.
ok, so ill just abandon that one then. thanks jayce
Hello,
I just recently upgraded the official HTC HD2 rom from their website, now i want to install darkstone superNAND froyo on it. What do i need to do? the HSPL version is 2.08 but the ROM version is 3.14. Do i need to downgrade it to an older version? i want the best performance out of my device.
Kindly tell me thoroughly step by step what i need to do next.
Regards.
Just downgrade to v1.66 ROM like you did before (upgraded the official HTC HD2 rom). Then follow this guide to install NAND Android – https://www.jayceooi.com/2010/12/31/how-to-install-nand-android-on-htc-hd2/
which rom should i downgrade to get the best optimal performance? and where can i get the roms from?
The same website you downloaded official HTC HD2 rom.
v1.66 ROM or below is okay. You will replace them with HSPL3, latest radio and NAND Android ROM.
i downloaded the 3.14 from HTC’s site and i didnt see no archive for older roms.. kindly help me get done with this in today’s date as i have been up for it doing for over 4-5 days now.
i have used HSPL and clicked on 2.08 hspl and it said successfully done ( but didnt show * we hacked it * on my device )
now i need to downgrade the rom from 3.14 to 1.66? from where can i get the rom?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623283 (use at your own risk)
ok, im downloading 1.66 from HTC website. does it support 576mb ram? i will follow the steps after i successfully install older rom, if any problem i will bug you again π
i’ve done what i was suppose to. the radio is 2.15 and the rom is 1.66. but the RAM size is still 448mb. tell me how to upgrade it to 576?
does it even matter if its shown 448? doesnt the android rom overwrite it? kindly reply soon as im waiting to proceed.
No, you can continue to install DFT MAGLDR Bootloader then NAND Android.
i tried upgrading it to 2.12 ( the one you were using ) but it still says 448. so basically what ure saying is i should just start with the android installation and not worry about the 448mbs?
kindly help me ASAP. i downgraded it to 1.66 after installing HPSL3 and magldr111, when i start running android ROM it gives me an error. * error description ; USB init failed info :RSPL\RSPL.cpp(723). what should i do? the USB connection is verified.
Hey, Jayce.
There’s something that i do not understand. Does this means that i will no longer have winmo? It totally transform into an android? Which is fascinating!!
Yes, NAND Android replaces Windows Mobile 6.5 totally.
Thanks for the quick reply, Jayce. Do you encourage this? Or is it better to have it on our SD card?
Yes, if you don’t need to use Windows Mobile 6.5 applications anymore. NAND Android is faster and have better battery life compare to SD card Android.
Thanks.
No problem. π
@mughees: Yes, just start Android installation. By the way, I am using 2.15 radio now.
i did jayce, i told you what error its giving me. Btw when the bootloader loads it says on the first page in the last row in bold RED font * SD kernel open failed *
ive upgraded/downgraded several times ever since i initially loaded magLDR but everytime i start with the android thing it gives the same msg before bootloader.
Power on your phone and don’t let go power button. It will load into MAGLDR. As for USB 723 issue, follow this post – https://www.jayceooi.com/2011/01/26/how-to-fix-usb-init-failed-rsplrspl-cpp-723-on-nand-android-installation/
After trying 7 ROM’s this is the only one that loaded.. It is fully functional and F-ing AWESOME.. Thanks Jayce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are welcome. π
How do I get more space for my apps? Cannot get apps to move to SD card.
Please follow the guide at XDA website.
