Package Content
Decoka DK100 comes in a well-protected packaging as you can see. And bundle lot of stuffs for you and me too. There are 3 pairs of eartips (L, M, S), 3 pairs of wingtips (L, M, S), hop pocket, micro USB charging cable and user manual.
The user manual has multiple languages by the way. And the carrying bag is great for safe keep Decoka DK100 when travelling.
Design & Build Quality
Decoka DK100 build quality is excellent thanks to sturdy and smooth matte plastic housing with metal plate. Solid cable as well with gold plated plug. Decoka DK100 comes with remote control and built-in microphone. You can control media playback, volume and answering call with it. As you can see, there is a round shape object there. It is the ANC unit. There are power on/off switch, monitor button and micro USB port for charging. And a LED light indicator in the middle (green = power on, orange = charging and off = power off).
Fit, Comfort & Isolation
Decoka DK100 has a relative small housing and 45 nozzle design. Thanks to multiple of eartip sizes. No issue to find a good seal here. Furthermore, the bundled wingtips really help to keep this IEM attached to my ears while exercise or jogging. Yes, great for sport no doubt. Native isolation is average as expected as an IEM.
Performance Result
Active Noise Cancelling on Decoka DK100 performs excellent. It does not alter sound signature like my previous 2 ANC headphones. And does its noise cancelling task well. Yes, it does remove some of the external noises. Ideal for busy workplace, public transport and long flight no doubt. No need to bump up volume to cover all those noises anymore. Besides, it has another nice feature – monitor mode. Turn on will reduce your music volume and enhance environment sounds. No need to remove eartips to clearly hear airline or subway announcements. Turn off to back to your music again. Isn’t that great?
Decoka DK100 easily performs up to 20 hours+ with ANC turned on. All thanks to 120mAh rechargeable battery. You still can continue to listen with it when battery depleted. But without ANC anymore of course. For self-charging, it takes slightly more than an hour to do so. By the way, the built-in microphone performance is great and sensitive. Others can hear my voice loud and clear.
As for sound quality, Decoka DK100 IEM provides balanced sound signature which I prefer. Both treble and bass are well controlled. Not too bright until there is harshness nor too warm with bass overloaded. Soundstage is decent as all the instruments placement can be hear clearly. Overall, it sounds great for a budget ANC earphones.
