Yes, Clash of Clans Town Hall 11 update suck big time. No, it does not. Well, it is yes and no for me. The positive… We have new town hall 11, new hero Grand Warden and new defense Eagle Artillery. And lot of goodies for TH11 like more defenses and higher troop level. Yes, lot of people with max town hall 10 are waiting for this update long time ago. They will keep most of us busy with all these upgrades. I love new shields and village guard features. You won’t loss all the shield when attack instead decreasing by hours. And you will get 15 minutes village guard after other attacked you. Army boosts have been reduced to 5 gems for 1 hour of boost is another advantage too. Same apply to cost for finding a match and ‘Nexting’ reduced for TH10. All these are good.
Yes, lot of gemers are having max TH11 bases on the very first day of this latest update in order to get into the first place of ranking. Supercell is getting lot of revenues from these players. Personally, I still have few more defenses and 61 walls to upgrade until max. Will only upgrade to TH11 after that. I still want to bully TH9 players before jump into TH11 else the loot will be much lesser on TH9 bases.
New personal breaks feature suck big time. Town halls now hold lots of available loot and does not provide shield after destroyed too. Yes, that’s the one everyone is talking about nowadays. Personally, I don’t get affected much on defend side since my TH10 defenses are almost max with 2 max heroes around. However, I do face looting issue as destroy town hall does not give you 100% league bonus anymore. Therefore, you won’t find much (or almost none) base with exposed town hall on higher league like Master, Champion and above. No more free loot from Supercell and you need to grab from other players. And it is hard and take time to do so on those leagues.
Luckily, this is not the end. On lower league like silver, gold and crystal, you can find lot of abandoned bases. I saw 7 out of 10 bases are dead ones. Yes, more and more people are quitting CoC. From time to time, you will get almost full collectors bases to raid. Of course, this apply to gold and elixir only. You still need to go to higher league for dark elixir. Hopefully, Supercell does not remove these dead bases from system. Else I am quitting Clash of Clans as well…
