I don’t use XBMC much on my Android devices. MX Player and DicePlayer do a better job. However, latest beta version of XBMC 13.0 Gotham changes that. It supports both ARM and x86 hardware decoding. Therefore, Raspberry Pi and Android has huge speed improvement on video playback. And support stereoscopic 3D rendering now. Samsung is always fast on releasing new software update. Great software support I can say. Yes, here is the very first Samsung Galaxy Note 3 OTA software update. What does it bring? XDA Developer, wanam has a nice customization tool for Samsung firmwares – Wanam Xposed. And he has another one which will do the same great stuffs for Nexus (AOSP) ROM – Wanam Kit. It will let you customize Android 4.4 KitKat AOSP stock ROM. Good for Nexus devices like Nexus 4, 5 and 7 (2013)… As usual, it requires root access and Xposed Framework 2.4. Loaded with few features like enable numeric battery, change colour and typeface of the battery text, skip music with volume buttons in this very first release. Rest assures that more features will come.
