I9100G model in Malaysia had Android 2.3.6 earlier but reported it is buggy. Users face force close issue on certain applications. And system just hangs sometime. You can disable Samsung Galaxy Note 3 camera shutter sound by turn your phone into vibrate or silent mode. Yes, this method works again on Galaxy Note 3 Malaysia firmware unlike Galaxy Note 2 which requires root access method. However, it is not very user friendly to do so every time when you need to take photo. So Camera Mute application comes to rescue. Basically, it is a simple application to turn your phone into silent mode when stock camera is opened. And turn on sound back when stock camera is closed.

Don’t have your ChromeCast Dongle yet? Turn your Android device to become one with CheapCast. Yup, if you happen have 2 Android devices (Nexus Q with TV or Chromebook) at home, try out CheapCast then. It is still in beta stage so it might not work on your devices yet. But this application looks promising. I can turn my Galaxy S4 with MHL 2.0 HDTV Adapter into ChromeCast clone. Of course, actual ChromeCast is easier and cheaper than this combo. But this gives me a chance to try out ChromeCast features without the hardware itself, right?
