Anomaly 2 Benchmark just makes Nexus 7 (2013) Adreno 320 GPU outdated

One of my favourite tower defense (or offense) games – Anomaly Warzone Earth (then Anomaly Korea) from 11 bit studios has a benchmark tool. Yup, it is their next generation engine for Anomaly 2. The engine itself looks great. Nice graphics and animation. Can’t wait for the game itself. Err… The Adreno 320 GPU in Nexus 7 (2013) can’t seem to perform well on 1080p at high quality mode. However, latest Galaxy Note 3 with Adreno 330 GPU scores very well there.

Buying Samsung Galaxy S5, anyone?

Samsung Galaxy S5 is the latest flagship from Samsung. And it is coming real soon at 11th April. I was hoping for better hardware specifications. A delay of 1 or 2 months won’t hurt much. Guess that Galaxy Note Series is the actual Samsung flagship for Android smartphone, not S series anymore. In short, it just likes an overclocked Galaxy Note 3 with Snapdragon 801 processor. 16MP camera but without optical image stabilizer again. Same FHD Super AMOLED. I was hoping for 2K resolution. Yes, you get IP67 dust and water resistant. And finger scanner for secure, biometric screen locking feature and safer mobile payment. Heart rate monitor for healthier lifestyle. Err… 16GB model with 2GB of RAM is still there. Come on, Samsung. Galaxy Note 3 base model is already 32GB storage and 3GB RAM, why go back?

Already have Samsung Galaxy S4 on your hands? Well, mine should be arrived tomorrow or maybe tonight if the shop willing to sell it (Malaysia Samsung Galaxy S4 launches on 27 April 2013). As usual, never playing a new gadget like Galaxy S4 without going through its user manual. Hopefully, interactive Galaxy S4 User’s Digest which provides easy to follow instructions and videos will come out soon. So that you don’t need to going through the whole Galaxy S4 user guide. Malaysia is getting GT-I9500 first. And GT-I9505 LTE version is coming later. So study the one that suite you.
