I always wanted to unlock my HTC One X bootloader since day 1 I got it. There is lot of good custom ROM for HTC One X from XDA website now. Besides, lot of customization and tweaks to improve its speed and performance too. But I need to unlock HTC One X bootloader first in order to install these. And unlock HTC One X bootloader voids warranty based on several users who experienced it themselves. And this does not apply to only HTC One X but all other HTC smartphones as well.

HTC One X had a poor 3G signal. But thanks to 1.28.707.10 system upgrade, HTC upgraded HTC One X radio baseband from 1.1204.90.13 to 1.1204.103.14. And it improves 3G signal reception. Wi-Fi signal is still the same on my HTC One X though.
