What is your top video player for Google Nexus 4? As usual, the default video player can’t play all the video file type. So I ran some tests on several video players like MoboPlayer, DicePlayer and MX Player. Finally, found out that DicePlayer is my first pick. Lot of video file types are supported like AVI, MOV, MKV, FLV, AVI, 3GP, 3G2, ASF, WMV, MP4, M4V, TS, MTP and M2TS. That’s almost all. And it is available free to download with no advertisement. So it is my best video player for Nexus 4’s 4.7″ WXGA IPS screen.

MX Player is the second choice that you can try. It is as good as DicePlayer but with advertisement. Get MX Player Pro to remove those advertisements. Or you have other great video player for Nexus 4. Let me know…
Thank you for this great finding! Been looking for video player right now!
Diceplayer currently doesn’t run under rk3066 devices running jellybean…only ICS.
Thanks for the great article. If I might add, none of those players will play mkv files with Dolby DTS audio. Only BS Player does it all.
@jayce, diceplayer cause .rmvb shuttering when drag the seek-bar & really not smooth at all compare to mx player/pro
