Performance Result
Let’s talk about AudioBox BBX 500 TWS output power first. It is a 15W speaker (RMS). More than enough to blast at quiet large living room or tuition center. It has bright sound signature where treble is much more focus than bass. Don’t expect subwoofer kind of bass level for sure. Therefore, you have clear and clean treble that produce great vocals. Yes, a great budget loudspeaker no doubt. The free bundle wired microphone is good for average usage. You need to put close to your mouth in order to get clear output. Do take note…
As for Bluetooth, it is great up to 8m+ with obstacles. Audio and video are almost in-sync. That’s great for movie, games and etc. Don’t forget that it has FM, built-in player and AUX modes too. FM reception is great as well. Able to get clear signal over here. Of course, this is depended on your area reception. As expected, it can’t remember last used audio source. Always start in Bluetooth mode.
8 hours non-stop music playback on its 1200mAh battery. As usual, tests were done on average room sound level with LED lights turned on. And it takes around 3 hours to fully charge. By the way, the colourful LED lights are great but can’t be turned off.
Advantages
- Clear sound quality
- Wide Bluetooth range
- Bluetooth, FM radio & MP3 player (USB & SD)
- Decent build quality
Limitations
- Wish to have more bass
- Can’t remember last used audio source
Conclusion
Nice budget portable Bluetooth speaker with FM radio and wired microphone for karaoke. Don’t forget the useful built-in MP3 player as well. As usual, do visit AudioBox Website for more information. Buy yours at Lazada.
as for the led light can be turn off by pressing the M button until beep sound heard.
