Can be mounted on bicycle with extra accessory. Have speakerphone ability. Rockman-S is a smaller one with 1 channel output while Rockman-L is longer with 2 channel stereo outputs. How do they perform? Read on to find out…
Package Content & Design
There are Rockman speaker, USB charging cable, AUX 3.5mm audio cable and user manual in both of the packages. The build quality is top notch. The green part is thick hard rubber, black one is hard plastics and sliver part is metal. No worry about accidentally drop here. On top, there are power on/off, volume up/down, next/previous and play/pause/answer buttons. The bicycle mount hole with 1/4″ diameter is located at the bottom. At the side, there is a plastics cover to protect AUX in and micro USB ports. Lastly, the soft touch and strong hanging strap is there to hang at bathroom. By the way, the bottom rubber is softer to provide strong grip. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that there is a LED light indicator in front. Mine is army green and there are another 2 colours to choose – blue and orange.

Performance Result
Both aLLreLi Rockman-S & Rockman-L Speakers are equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 chip that have stable transmitting and high compatibility. Yup, their Bluetooth coverage is great. Easily exceed the standard 10m Bluetooth range in straight line with no obstacle. Up to 7m with obstacles like wall. Both of them perform the same with Rockman-S has slight advantage. All my Bluetooth devices are able to pair and work with them flawlessly. As usual, non-Bluetooth device is able to connect through Aux in port.
Rockman-S has smaller battery at 1500mAh and it is able to play non-stop music for 19 hours. 22 hours for Rockman-L with 2000mAh battery. As usual, tests were done with average room sound level. Of course, battery life will be shorter if you play it louder at maximum volume level. But that’s too loud for a room. As for charging, Rockman-S gets fully charged by 4 hours while Rockman-L needs 5 hours and a half. By the way, battery level status is shown on iOS devices like iPhone and iPad. And it will turn off automatically if no Bluetooth connectivity after 10 minutes to save battery life.
Speakerphone call quality is good on both of them. In short, loud and clear thanks to its sensitive mic. It is a useful feature that you can use it as hand free mode. Work well in office and even cycling along the road. As usual, the closer to the mic == other hears you clearer. So far, no people complaint about my voice yet. Well done, aLLreLi. Of course, I can hear others clearly too.
Enjoy clear treble and powerful bass (for its size). Yes, that’s what you will get from both aLLreLi Rockman Speakers. Both of them can get really loud and no issue to throw a small party with them no matter indoor or outdoor. And I did not notice any distortion even at loudest volume. That’s good. When compare both of them, Rockman-L is louder with its 2 x 5W speaker units. And you can enjoy stereo effect too. Bass wise, Rockman-S is slightly better.
Both speakers have IPX5 water resistant rating which will survive water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm). Does it really stand up against water test? Check out below video to find out…
