CM7 makes the kindle so worth it now! Thx for all the tutorials/links. Had a LOT of issues with the drivers when getting twrp running with the latest 0.9.2 KFU install. Finally got it working with some playing around switching drivers and rebooting my system. (Seems like a common issue…) anyway, came across this new post mentioning a windows-LESS method of installing twrp and the likes. Its a Ubuntu live cd (or USB) which has all the needed drivers / adb apps in one. Maybe may make others lives a little easier. Ill test it on my next kindle root process. Keep up the good post’n.
