“ALERT!!! Facebook has changed and said nothing..!!! Take a look at your URL (top box on your screen). If you see “http” or just “www” instead of “https” you do not have a secure session & can be hacked…” I saw this from one of my friends’ post at Facebook. Indeed, there is no secure connection with my Facebook account. HTTPS ensures reasonable protection from eavesdroppers and man-in-the-middle attacks. Why not enable secure browsing in Facebook when we can get it free?
How to enable secure browsing in Facebook?
- Click on Account.
- Then select Account Settings.
- At Account Security – click Change.
- Check box at Secure Browsing (https) ~ Browse Facebook on a secure connection (https) whenever possible.
- Finally, click Save.
