Lot of Android builds for HTC HD2 nowadays. I cannot manage to test all of them in time then another new build pop up. After tested several Android builds, I found out that most of them are about the same ~ using same kernel and interface but some with tweak here and there. Mdeejay eVo Sense v1.1 Matted Android ROM is another build that I tried. It is looking great but still has g-sensor freeze issue on kernel 2.6.32.15 #95. All the developers are working hard toward a perfect Android kernel for HTC HD2. Hopefully, they can manage to come out a perfect kernel soon.
Benchmark score is low compare to other builds because this build does not overclock the CPU. So far I cannot feel any slowness on actual usage. And no doubt that Android builds from Mdeejay are great. Give it a try now. 😉

The battery life is draining out very fast. Only two hours (stand by – a few use) more than 20% gone! Do you have anyway to get improved? Thnaks

I install setCPU and set underclock (245mhz) on hd2 when the screen is off and also install ” task killer” to quit some app. which is no use….

Battery life… Don’t turn on 3G data connection all the time. This help a lot. And use Wi-Fi and not 3G data helps too. 3G eats quite some battery.

It’s hard to say. Because the need is different. For example, I don’t care much about HD2 camera because the quality is so so.

I facing problem after install Mdeejay_eVo_Sense_v._1.1_Matted, my htc hd2 keep on rebooting and appear ‘Process system is not responding’
Previously i installed mattcfroyosense1.7ppp and it works fine.
I already deleted the Android folder and install fresh Mdeejay_eVo_Sense_v._1.1_Matted.
Any advice?

Try to format your SD card. Else delete other folders and files created by Android in your SD card. Make a very clean start. 😉

Nope, using both Windows Mobile and Android. I don’t use HD2 camcorder much. So can’t comment for the moment.
Hi Jayce, I found the voicemail notication does not work too in android of this rom. By the way Mdeejay_FroYo_Revolution_v._1.6_S3.1.7z is it better?
For the windows Mobile, I use rev. 2.13 rom is it good enough ? or I need to change to custom rom? like energy rom? any good idea?

Hard to say which Android ROM is better or not. It’s all depends on each needs.
No need to upgrade Windows Mobile ROM unless you have issue with Android like robotic voice. But no harm to upgrade if you like since custom ROM has lot of goodies. 😉
I install an android software called voicemail notificer ( free); look it is ok now. I still need to test for voicemail.
