Everything comes well-protected just like other HyperX products. There are HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 and quick start guide in the package. That’s all.
Excellent build quality for the price. All thanks to sturdy plastic frame housing yet lightweight. Stylish in design too. Perfect match for PlayStation 5 white outlook too. The volume control is located on the right earcup while the microphone is on the left.
The swivel-to-mute microphone is adjustable. Just flip the mic up to mute. And pull it down to use. As simple as ABC, right?

Fit, Comfort & Isolation
Cloud Stinger 2 fits very well. And it is a pleasure to wear it for long hours comfortably. All thanks to Signature HyperX Comfort. Yeah, it does deliver premium comfort without the luxury price tag.
The soft adjustable and flexible headband helps. The same applies to highly flexible earcups with soft ear cushions. For over-the-ear closed back headphones, the passive isolation is average at best. Great for those who want to aware of environment’s happenings.
Performance Result
DualSense Wireless Controller has more than enough power to drive HyperX Cloud Stinger 2. Yup, it can go really loud. And you can also use it on your smartphone too. In short, Cloud Stinger 2 is easy to drive.
The microphone is sensitive and performs great. Others can hear me loud and clear. All thanks to flexible noise-cancelling mic. Again, just flip it up when don’t need it.
Sound Quality
HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 performs excellently on PS5. Period. And be sure to enable the 3D audio. It gives you immersive surround sound that makes you feel like you’re inside the game. Yup, much better than normal stereo mode. That’s for sure. You can actually hear footsteps from the exact direction where the enemy is approaching. Perfect for gaming no doubt.
For details, the highs are crisp and clear. Yet no harshness at all. Mids are performing well too. Vocals sound natural for both female and male. Bass is powerful. You can feel the impactful bass bumping here and there. As for the soundstage, it is wide. You can clearly identify the musical instruments’ placement. In short, it is a pleasure to use Cloud Stinger 2 for games, music and movie.
