- SonicGear for SonicGear TWS 1 Wireless Bluetooth Earphones
Packaging and Design
Everything comes well-protected. There are earphones, charging case, micro USB charging cable and user manual in the package.
SonicGear TWS 1 looks like Apple AirPods in design. Build quality is decent with sturdy plastic housing. Matte surface with slightly shinning. Stylish and light in weight. By the way, it is loaded with touch control. The SonicGear logo is the touch button. And there is blue/red LED light indicator beside it. The charging case is nice and having the same surface as earbuds too.
Available in both white and black colours.
Fit, Comfort & Isolation
TWS 1 is having the traditional earbud design instead of the common in-ear. Fit very well and comfort to wear for long hour too. No different ear tip sizes, just one size to fit all. Therefore, you won’t have great isolation which is known for this kind of earbuds.
Performance Result
Bluetooth range is average for TWS earbuds. SonicGear TWS 1 can go up to 5m+ with obstacles like walls. Stable connection as long as you keep in range. Besides, the audio and video are almost in-sync that suitable for movie, games and MV. Lastly, you can use it as stereo or mono as you wish.
Based on specs, you can enjoy up to 6 hours of music playback. Extra 12 hours of listening with the charging case. More than enough for your daily sport activities. And there is battery indicator status on iOS and Android devices. Never forget to charge it when low power.
Excellent phone call experience. Others can hear me loud and clear. Same applies to me as well of course. Great for those who are looking for a earbud for phone calling.
Sound Quality
Bright sound signature is what you get from Earpump TWS 1. Without perfect seal due to earbuds design, you won’t get extra bass here. Great for those who are looking for clear and clean treble. Yes, it is focusing more toward treble than bass. But it is not totally lacking for bass (just not as heavy when compared to in-ear). In short, TWS 1 sounds decent for the price. Highs are clean and clear. Basically, it is the best part of TWS 1 and focuses on. As for mids, vocals sound nice in both male and female. Bass is there and okay in performance. But don’t expect boom boom kind of bass will do. Soundstage performance is decent for the price. Instruments placement separation is good even in the complex scene.
Advantages
- Clean & clear treble
- Excellent microphone
- Long battery life
- Comfortable for long hour wear

Hi Jayce, how do you adjust volume of these earbuds for calls for iPhone so my calls can be louder for me? my caller sounds very soft during a phone call. would you be able to provide your kind expertise on this? thank you.
I don’t use iPhone. On my Android phone, I just use phone volume control to adjust. That’s all.
thank you for your reply. no worries!
Welcome. 🙂
Hi Jayce. May I know how do I connect to only one earplug? Can both earplugs be used in mono mode simultaneously using 2 phones?
Just take out one earplug from the case at a time. Connect to a phone then. Take another one in the end.
