Which router are you using?
In this case the RT-AC86U. But…after doing more research myself, it looks like there’s no way to actually “turn off” AiMesh, and that instead, if there are no extra added nodes, the router automatically puts the backchannel band back into service? Thanks…
Look like your RT-AC86U 5 GHz is faulty. Mine faced the same issue. AiMesh does not reserve 5 GHz on this model.
