My fellow audiophiles, be really excited now. DUNU has several new models to present at the coming 22nd Beijing International Hi-Fi Exhibition next week at 18-20 September 2015. Yup, they are going to launch new multiple driver hybrid models which consist of not only 4 drivers but even up to 5 drivers. And new family members to join in Titanium Series. Alright, here they are ~ DN-2002, DK-3001, DK-4001, Titan 1es, Titan 3 and Titan 5. Let’s check out some features of these new models before the event. And do drop by there if you happen in Beijing then.
Hybrid Series
DN-2002 utilizes the dual dynamic + dual balance armature configuration. Soundstage is natural, specious and three dimensional. Bass range is enhanced and deepened by the ‘Double Bass’ dual dynamic drivers. Mid-range is full and energetic. Treble is crisp, detailed and well extended. All frequencies work in perfect sync and will go particularly well with Pop music as well as classical orchestra.
DK-3001 utilizes the single dynamic + triple balance armature configuration. Bass range is driven by a 13mm dynamic driver with titanium diaphragm that provides not only ample amount of bass, but also excellent transient and texture. Mid- to high-range are driven by top of the time Knowles balanced armature drivers that provide full and sweet vocal as well as great treble extension with crisp micro-detail. The four drivers are custom designed for smooth and balanced frequency response, which will go well with Pop music, ACG music as well as classical orchestra.
DK-4001 utilizes the single dynamic + quad BA five drivers’ configuration. Bass range is handled by a 13mm dynamic driver with titanium diaphragm for its impressive power and roar, but without compromising its excellent transient. Mid- and high-range are handled by four top-of-the-line Knowles balanced armature drivers. Vocal is sweet and soulful, treble is detailed and crisp without being overly bright. The combined frequency response is smooth with an impressive soundstage and a theater-like presentation.
Titanium Series
Titan 1es utilizes a single large diameter dynamic transducer with titanium diaphragm. Exhaustedly tuned by our design team, the titanium diaphragm’s signature transparency is pushed to its limit for outstanding detail, smoothness, dynamic range and instrument positioning. The uniquely designed cable outlet ensures better comfort and isolation, making the IEM especially great for music, streaming, online video and gaming.
Titan 3 utilizes a 13mm diameter singer dynamic transducer with titanium diaphragm. Exhaustedly tuned by our design team, the titanium diaphragm’s signature transparency is pushed to its limit. Bass is fast and with adequate quantity and clean impact. Vocal is full, sweet, soulful and clearly defined. Treble is well extended, crisp and smooth with superb instrument positioning and detail reproduction. All and all, Titan 3 is best for vocal.
Titan 5 utilizes a 13mm diameter singer dynamic transducer with titanium diaphragm for its excellent transient and clarity as well as ability to handle high input power. Bass has good quantity and deep reach. Mid-range has clean and sweet vocal. High-range is smooth and detailed. By combining an analytical presentation, wide soundstage, accurate imaging, and well defined layering, Titan 5’s live like performance will make music much more enjoyable.
Wow… All of them are awarded the Hi-Res AUDIO certification except Titan 1es. Can’t wait to ‘ear on’ them, right? Okay, here is the official launch schedule… Titan 1es will be the first, follow by Titan 5 and Titan 3. Hybrid Series like DN-2002, DK-3001 and DK4001 will be coming next year.
